LoLdoku FAQ

What is LoLdoku?
LoLdoku is a fan-made League of Legends champion grid project. The planned daily puzzle asks you to fill nine cells with champions that match the category at the top of their column and the category beside their row.
Can I play the daily grid yet?
The daily game is under construction. The homepage currently shows a preview, not a playable puzzle. These pages explain the intended format; final rules will be shown with the playable game.
How do I solve a champion grid?
Read a cell’s row and column clues together. Choose a champion that satisfies both. For example, a Mage × Mana cell needs a champion classified as a mage who uses mana. Several champions may fit an intersection.
Is this a traditional Sudoku puzzle?
No. Traditional Sudoku uses numbers and placement constraints. LoLdoku is a trivia grid about League champions, with categories that intersect in nine cells.
How many guesses will I have?
The planned format allows nine submitted guesses for the nine-cell grid. Correct guesses fill a cell; incorrect guesses use an attempt. You will not be able to reuse a champion in the same grid. Check the in-game rules when gameplay launches.
How is LoLdoku different from LoLdle?
LoLdle centers on identifying hidden champions from clues. LoLdoku’s intended format shows row and column categories and asks you to find champions at their intersections. They are separate fan projects.
